Plumbing Fixture Services We Offer

Toilet Installation & Repair

Toilets are one of the most common plumbing calls we get across Ottawa, especially in older neighbourhoods with original plumbing fixtures.

From toilets that won’t stop running (or won’t fill) to flushing issues and leaks that need repair, most issues are from how the toilet was installed and maintained over the years.

Today’s low-flush models (3.8L, 4.8L, and 6L) use far less water than older toilets, which means proper installation is more important than ever.

  • Toilet Installation – New toilet installation for renovations, upgrades, or replacements. We ensure proper flange height, a wax seal, and a secure connection so your new toilet flushes and is leak-free right from day one.
  • Toilet Flange Repair – When renovations raise your flooring level, the flange sits too low for a proper single seal. We install extension flanges to bring it above the finished floor, without demolition or the risk of emergency plumbing leaks from double-seal workarounds.
  • Toilet Repair & Troubleshooting – Toilets that keep running or refill randomly without being used, weak flushes, and base leaks. We diagnose and fix the actual problem, so you won’t have the same issue again in a few months.
  • Low-Flush Toilet Optimization – Not every clog means you need a new toilet. Our licensed plumbers can adjust internal components, like the flapper and flush valve, to get a stronger and complete flush.

Faucet Installation & Repair

A dripping faucet wastes water and money. Whether you’re upgrading to a modern kitchen faucet or fixing a bathroom tap that won’t stop running, we work with all major brands including Moen, Delta, and Kohler.

In many Ottawa homes, the issue isn’t just the faucet. Worn shut-off valves and water supply lines are often part of the problem; we check them proactively, so you’re not facing another leak down the road.

  • Kitchen Faucet Replacement – Removal of old faucet and installation of your new fixture, including supply line connections and leak testing. We handle single-hole, three-hole, and wall-mount configurations.
  • Bathroom Faucet Installation – Vanity and pedestal sink faucet installations for renovations or upgrades. Includes shut-off valve inspection and replacement if needed.
  • Faucet Repair – Dripping faucets, low pressure, stiff handles, and sprayer malfunctions. We carry common parts for Moen, Delta, and Kohler models for same-day repair whenever possible.
  • Exterior Faucet Install & Repair – We also install and repair outdoor faucets (hose bibs). Remember to shut off and drain yours before the first freeze to avoid frozen pipes.

Bidet Installation

Bidets are becoming increasingly popular in Ottawa homes, whether as standalone fixtures or as bidet seat attachments for existing toilets.

Proper installation requires a water supply connection, along with drainage and mounting (for standalone bidets). They can improve hygiene and reduce toilet paper use, which helps limit build-up in your drains.

  • Bidet Seat & Attachment Installation – We install attachments that mount under your toilet seat, and options that replace your existing toilet seat. If you want a heated seat and warm water, you’ll need an outlet within reach. We handle the water supply connections and test all features as well.
  • Standalone Bidet Installation – Full bidet fixture installation, including supply lines, drainage, and mounting. We handle any behind-the-walls plumbing work needed before the bidet is actually installed.
  • Hygienic & Code-Compliant – Cheap bidets can be non-compliant and cause serious sanitary issues. We install CSA-approved bidets with proper backflow prevention to protect your water supply and avoid risks from non-compliant attachments.

Bathtub & Shower Services

From shower valve replacements to full bathtub installations, we handle the plumbing side of your bathroom renovation or repair.

Tub and shower drains connect to the same drainage system that we service with our professional drain-cleaning machine. If you’re dealing with slow drains, we can address both the fixture and the blockage in one visit.

  • Shower Valve Replacement – Replacement of worn or leaking shower mixing valves and cartridges. We work with single-handle and dual-handle configurations across all major brands.
  • Bathtub Installation – Includes plumbing work behind the walls and under the floor, along with all fixture connections for new bathtub installations during renovations. We also handle the drain, overflow, and supply line hookup.
  • Tub & Shower Drain Repair – Slow or clogged tub and shower drains cleared with professional equipment. If the problem is deeper than the fixture, we trace it with a camera inspection to find the real cause.

Sink & Basin Installation & Repair

Kitchen sinks are our #1 drain cleaning call. Most blockages come from grease and fat buildup, and most homes don’t run enough hot water to keep the pipes clear because everyone uses a dishwasher now.

Whether it’s a kitchen sink, bathroom vanity, pedestal sink, vessel basin, wall-mount basin, or laundry tub, we handle the full installation. This includes drain, supply lines, shut-off valves, and faucet connections, all to Ontario Building Code standards.

  • Kitchen Sink Installation – Drop-in, undermount, and farmhouse sink installations, including drain, supply, and dishwasher connections. We ensure proper slope and venting for reliable drainage.
  • Bathroom Sink & Basin Installation – Vanity sinks, pedestal sinks, vessel basins, and wall-mount basins for bathrooms, powder rooms, and ensuites. Includes full plumbing connection, drain hookup, and leak testing.
  • Utility & Laundry Tub Installation – Utility sinks and laundry tubs for basements, laundry rooms, and workshops. Includes hot and cold supply lines, drainage, and any required venting. Our professional drain-cleaning machine can clear lint, fabric-softener residue, and paint for optimal performance.
  • Sink Drain Repair & Clean-Out Installation – Leaking drains, slow drainage, and P-trap replacement. We can install a drain access clean-out in the kitchen cabinet so future service doesn’t require dismantling pipes, and we can run hot water during cleaning for a much more thorough result.

Dishwasher Installation

Dishwasher problems are more common than most people think: improper drainage, leaking connections, and low water pressure can all lead to water damage if left unchecked.

We handle new installations, replacements, and repairs to get your dishwasher running properly.

  • Dishwasher Installation – New dishwasher hookup including hot water supply line, drain hose connection to the kitchen sink drain or garburator, and leak testing. Without a high loop in your drain line, dirty water flows back into the machine. We install it right so your dishes are washed with clean water only.
  • Dishwasher Replacement – Removal of old unit and installation of new dishwasher with all plumbing connections. We check existing shut-off valves and supply lines and replace anything that’s worn or corroded.
  • Dishwasher Repair – Water backup, drainage problems, leaking hoses, gurgling sounds, and low water pressure. We diagnose the plumbing side of the issue and fix the root cause, not just the symptom.

Signs Your Fixtures Need Attention

Small fixture problems can turn into bigger plumbing issues if left unchecked. Here are the warning signs that it’s time to call a professional:

Plumbing Fixture FAQs

Why does my toilet keep clogging?

A frequently clogging toilet usually points to one of a few things: a low-flush model lacking the water volume to clear the drain, a partial blockage in the trap, or a flange issue affecting the seal and flow. Holding the lever down for a full flush cycle can help with low-flow models, but if clogs are happening regularly, it’s worth having someone take a look at the root cause rather than just clearing it each time.

How much does toilet installation cost in Ottawa?

Most toilet installations in Ottawa start around $300. For more complex work (such as repairing or replacing a flange), the cost can increase to $600 or more. We give you upfront pricing before any work starts and if you’re having multiple fixtures serviced at the same time, sub-items are discounted. Diamond Club members receive an exclusive 15% discount on all services, repairs and the dispatch fee, along with an extended 2-year guarantee.

Is a dual flush toilet worth it?

It depends on your plumbing. The water savings are real, but the half-flush setting often doesn’t generate enough force to move toilet paper through older or longer drain lines. In those situations, you end up flushing twice anyway. A single-flush toilet with a strong, efficient flush mechanism can actually be more reliable day-to-day. We’re happy to talk through what makes sense for your home.

Why is my kitchen sink draining slowly?

The most common cause is grease and fat buildup coating the inside of the drain line. A good first step is to plug both bowls, fill them with hot water, then release both plugs at the same time. The volume and weight of the water can push the buildup through. If that doesn’t clear it, the blockage is likely further down the line and needs professional drain cleaning.

Can you install a faucet I bought myself?

Yes, we install customer-supplied faucets. Before the appointment, check that the hole configuration on your sink matches your new faucet. Single-hole, three-hole, and widespread faucets all have different requirements. We handle the supply line connections, shut-off valves, and full leak testing after we install it.

What brands of fixtures do you work with?

We work with all the major brands, including Moen, Delta, Kohler, and American Standard. We stock common parts for these brands, which means we can often complete faucet repairs the same day without a second visit. For dishwashers, we install and connect any brand, including Bosch, Samsung, LG, and Whirlpool.

Do you install bidet seats and attachments?

Yes. We install all three types: standalone bidet fixtures, bidet seats (both electric and non-electric), and under-seat attachments. Non-electric models just need a cold water T-connection at the toilet supply line. Electric bidet seats require a nearby GFCI outlet.

Can you hook up my new dishwasher?

Yes. A proper dishwasher hookup includes the hot water supply connection, drain hose routing with a high loop to prevent backflow, and full leak testing before we leave. We also check that your shut-off valves are in good working order. If you notice gurgling sounds from the sink after installation, that typically points to a drainage issue worth addressing.

What types of bathroom sinks do you install?

We install all common sink types: vanity, pedestal, vessel, wall-mount, and undermount. Each one has different plumbing requirements. If you’re working with a contractor or designer on a renovation, we’re happy to coordinate on the plumbing aspect.
